CHUGOKU WOOD COMPANY, NAGOYA OFFICE
co-designed by KATSUYA FUKUSHIMA / SHOKO TOMINAGA / HIDETAKA NAKAHARA
Review:
It is comfortable stepping inside the dynamic and copious space of this compact building. The interior design could be highly appraised with its originality and the effective usage of the stocked lumber for furnishing interior of the rooms attached, creating furniture and fixtures as well. Though this is a compact building, it is yet a fine creative design project providing divers ideas in its original space.

Review:
The building with curtain wall facade consisted of steel members and glass simply well proportioned, stands lightly at the corner of a busy warehouse area. obi (spiral-shaped bench)
designed by SACHIO HIHARA
Review:
It was a surprise that Obi was created in a supreme form which seemed too tough to be materialized. With its impressive topological form, the bench estranges the two persons from each other seating on it then, draw themselves and shake hands.

snow
designed by OOKI SATO
Review:
Fabulous was the light and shadow woven by the three dimensional collectives created by the snow crystal like elements. The fusion of the ornamental pieces is exquisite to work itself not as a simple ornament but the structural element of the object.

wind
designed by OOKI SATO
Review:
Designer challenged the high-tech molding to create a sharp and fresh design of a piece of stool out of the minimum plywood in a form looked like a piece of cloths. It is a brilliant fresh design shown off after a long while.
